O Judnet foi criado para atender as solicitacoes de informação encaminhadas para o Sistema Financeiro Nacional pelo Poder Judiciário, através do BACENJUD.
Devido ao crescimento da demanda de pedidos de informação sobre pessoas fisicas e jurídicas que o poder Judiciário faz ao Sistema Financeiro Nacional, o BACEN disponibiliza, através do BACEN JUD, um canal on-line para realizar solicitações nesse sentido.
A partir do dia 8 de junho de 2001, todas as solicitações passaram a ser retransmitidas às instituições financeiras por meio do aplicativo PSTAW10, no arquivo AJUD300.
Na primeira versão do sistema (BACENJUD 1.0) as instituições financeiras devem encaminhar as respostas e eventuais questões diretamente ao Juiz solicitante ou ao destinatário indicado por ele.

Judnet was designed to answer to the Judiciary information demands to the National Financial System through BANCEJUD.
Due to the increase in demand by the Judiciary for information on both individual and legal entities to the National Financial System, the Central Bank makes it possible to make online orders.
Starting June 8, 2001 all such demands are forwarded to the financial institutions by means of the PSTAW10 application in the AJUD300 file.
In the first version of BACENJUD 1.0 system, the institutions should answer the questions directly to the judge you ordered the information or to the specified recipient.
